Where Yesterday Meets Tomorrow
The Stickley furniture company has been reissuing classic Gustav Stickley furniture designs for some years now. The pieces are extremely well done copies. They are clearly marked and are very expensive. Not the sort of thing you'd expect to cause a problem. But they are copying $50,000 pieces of furniture and selling them for $4,000. That leaves enough room for scoundrels to play. People are taking the new Stickley, removing the wooden piece which contains the new mark, and replacing it with one that has the old mark.
