Where Yesterday Meets Tomorrow
Martha Stewart, that ultimate arbiter of social style, has decided that she likes Jadite dishes. The result has been a very noticeable jump in Jadite sales at the Center. Jadite is the light green colored glass dinner and kitchen ware made from the 1930s into the 1950s by several different companies. She likes it so much, in fact, that she's now producing and selling her own line of jadite items. Fortunately, they are very expensive, as befits those social paragons who take their lead from Martha. But it will cause prices to rise, at least until she and her social ephemerons flit off to some other fad. In the meantime, you can buy the authentic jadite at substantially less than Martha wants for it, so start your collection now!
